What is the Small Town Directory & Marketplace ?

The Small Town Directory & Marketplace is an online collection of small town organizations & vendors from small towns across the country. Here, small town vendors can list unlimited items for sale, choose their own shipping, and choose their own return and refund policies. My Town Today provides the platform. All vendors are vetted and approved so as to provide confidence to the buyer that they are receiving small town products, and feel good about their small town purchase. Promotional Organizations can create their own pages in the directory to be searchable by small town enthusiasts. This is a small town promotions community.

Think of the Marketplace as being similar to Etsy or Amazon FBA. However, FOR COMPARISON at the time of this posting, Etsy charges $0.20 for each item listed and a listing only lasts for 4 months, or until the item sells. Amazon FBA has no subscription fee, but there is a $0.99 fee per item sold, plus other selling fees based upon the category of the item sold. We keep it simple. Become a Market Member in the My Town Travel Association for a low-cost, one time annual payment . Once you are a Market Member, we charge a fee of 5% of every transaction. No listing fee, no per item fee, no nickle and dime. Simply join My Town Today as a Market Member (Click here to join My Town Today), and set up your store. As a Market Member, you have full access to all the benefits of membership- such as posting and managing events, social postings, and advertising discounts. Market Members may list as many items as they choose.


Market Members have many features that other online sales platforms miss. You can authorize staff to update and add items while preventing them from changing pricing or offering discounts.

You pick your shipping, refund and return policies. MTT does not tell you how to run your business.

Cross sell and up sell. Our intuitive system allows you to link items together to help you serve your customers and offer upgrades which improve customer retention and increase profitability.
